Launched in 2007, MinnPost underwent a content management system migration and redesign that debuted in February 2012. Combing through over 1,000 fonts, I landed on Proxima Nova Extra Bold for its heft and contemporary feel. The logo reinforced the red and black branding while leaving open the option to swap the "Minn" and the "Post" colors. The logo was applied to the 2024 MinnPost Festival logo and the showcasing of cannabis legalization coverage, MinnPot.
